AC Infinity T8 Air Filtration Kit 200mm – High-Capacity Smart Ventilation

Quick Answer

The AC Infinity T8 Air Filtration Kit 200mm is a complete ventilation and carbon-filtration package for larger indoor growing spaces. It combines an 807 CFM CLOUDLINE T8 inline fan, Controller 69 Pro with climate probe, 200mm carbon filter rated to 770 CFM, 7.6m four-layer ducting, clamps and hanging hardware.

Product Description

Build a coordinated high-capacity exhaust system with the AC Infinity T8 Air Filtration Kit 200mm.

The CLOUDLINE T8 uses a PWM-controlled EC motor and mixed-flow design to provide adjustable airflow through a 200mm duct path. Both TG Hydroponics and the manufacturer’s technical table list maximum fan airflow of 807 CFM and operating noise of 39 dBA.

The matching carbon filter contains a 38mm bed of Australian virgin RC412 activated charcoal. It is designed to help adsorb airborne odours as stale air is drawn from the growing area. A reversible aluminium flange, galvanised steel mesh body and 200mm connection support flexible installation.

Controller 69 Pro monitors the grow-space climate through its probe and can adjust fan speed using temperature, humidity and VPD triggers. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity provide access to compatible scheduling, alarms, historical graphs and data functions through the AC Infinity app.

Actual airflow and filtration performance depend on room volume, intake capacity, duct length, bends, filter condition and environmental factors. This equipment supports ventilation and odour management but does not guarantee complete odour removal or a particular growing result.

Electrical Configuration Note

The manufacturer’s US page lists 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz, maximum draw of 180W and a US Type-A plug. TG Hydroponics does not state the supplied plug type or electrical input specification on its page. Confirm the Australian-market electrical configuration with the retailer before ordering when these details are required.

The AC Infinity page contains both a 42 dBA summary line and a 39 dBA technical-table value. TG Hydroponics also lists 39 dBA, so this description uses 39 dBA while identifying the source inconsistency transparently.

Package Contents

  • 1 × CLOUDLINE T8 200mm inline fan

  • 1 × Controller 69 Pro

  • 1 × Climate probe

  • 1 × 200mm carbon filter

  • 1 × 7.6m four-layer flexible duct

  • 2 × Duct clamps

  • 2 × Rope hangers

  • Hanging straps and mounting brackets

Directions for Use

  1. Calculate the required airflow and plan a short, low-restriction exhaust route. Confirm that the room has adequate air intake.

  2. Locate the airflow arrow on the fan housing. For a typical exhaust setup, air should travel from the grow space through the carbon filter, into the fan and then through the exhaust duct.

  3. Connect the filter flange directly to the fan intake. Attach the 200mm duct to the fan outlet.

  4. Seat each connection fully and tighten the supplied clamps without deforming the flange or fan housing.

  5. Suspend the fan and filter from a load-bearing frame using the supplied straps and rope hangers. The larger T8 components must be supported securely.

  6. Mount the controller where it remains visible and dry.

  7. Connect the fan and climate probe to the controller according to the included AC Infinity instructions.

  8. Position the probe in the monitored zone, away from direct exhaust airflow, water spray and radiant heat that could distort readings.

  9. Power on the system, connect the controller to the AC Infinity app if required and configure appropriate fan levels, environmental triggers, alarms or schedules.

  10. Verify airflow direction and inspect every connection for leaks, vibration or excessive restriction.

Follow the included manual and applicable electrical and installation requirements. Disconnect power before installation or servicing and keep all electrical parts dry.

Care and Maintenance

  • Disconnect power before cleaning, moving or inspecting the equipment.

  • Keep the fan housing, controller, probe and electrical connections dry.

  • Inspect clamps, ducting, mounting brackets, straps and rope hangers regularly.

  • Remove dust from accessible external surfaces and ventilation openings with a dry, soft cloth.

  • Clean or replace the pre-filter cloth when supplied, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Service or replace the carbon filter when adsorption declines or airflow becomes restricted. Service intervals vary with conditions and usage.

  • Keep ducting extended and avoid sharp bends or compression that restrict airflow.

  • Check the probe for dust, moisture exposure and unsuitable placement.

  • Do not open the motor housing or wash the fan or controller with water.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included with the T8 Air Filtration Kit?

TG Hydroponics lists the CLOUDLINE T8 fan, Controller 69 Pro and probe, 200mm carbon filter, 7.6m ducting, two clamps, two rope hangers, straps and mounting brackets.

What airflow is the T8 fan rated for?

The CLOUDLINE T8 is rated at up to 807 CFM. Installed airflow will be lower after resistance from the carbon filter, ducting, bends and vents is considered.

Why is the filter rated below the fan airflow?

The carbon filter is listed at a maximum of 770 CFM while the fan is rated at 807 CFM. The controller allows fan output to be adjusted, and the complete system should be configured with the filter and total duct resistance in mind.

Does the filter eliminate every odour?

No absolute result can be guaranteed. The RC412 activated charcoal is designed to help adsorb odours, but effectiveness varies with system sizing, airflow, installation, filter condition and environmental factors.

What can Controller 69 Pro monitor?

The supplied probe supports temperature, humidity and VPD-based control. The controller also provides timer, cycle and schedule modes.

Can the T8 be controlled remotely?

Controller 69 Pro supports connection to the AC Infinity app through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Available remote functions depend on controller setup, network access and the current app version.

Can the fan be mounted vertically?

AC Infinity lists horizontal and vertical fan mounting positions. The fan and filter must be supported securely, and installation should follow the included manual.

Is the fan waterproof?

No. IP44 is not a waterproof or submersible rating. Keep the fan, controller, probe connections and power components away from water.
