When used as directed you will experience the fastest growth rates and the greatest yields possible in cocoponics.
For fast root formation
start irrigating with CANNA COCO A&B with an EC of 0.7-1.2 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Do this by filling the nutrition tank with water. Shake CANNA COCO A&B well. Add A&B concentrates in equal amounts at the rate of 1.5-2.5 mL/L. To accelerate new root growth up to 55% also add RHIZOTONIC to the nutrition tank at the rate of 4mL/L.
Before placing the plants
on the CANNA COCO coconut substrate, flush the substrate with the nutrient solution with an EC of 1.0 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Add A&B concentrates at 2-3 mL/L. Irrigate until drainage appears. For the first few days only irrigate with small amounts. Do not over water! Less is best!
For fast vegative growth
irrigate with CANNA COCO A&B with an EC of 1.0-1.5 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Add A&B concentrates at 2-3 mL/L. To trigger explosive new growth add RHIZOTONIC to the nutrition tank at 1-2mL/L. To supercharge nutrient uptake, boost the plants natural defence system and ensure a stronger more robust plant also add CANNAZYM at 2.5 mL/L.
Bloom Stage 1
At the first signs of fruit and flower formation, irrigate with CANNA COCO A&B with an EC of 1.2-1.7 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Add A&B concentrates at 2.5-3.5 mL/L. To build the leaf and root mass required for heavier yields add RHIZOTONIC at 0.5mL/L. To supercharge nutrient uptake, boost the plants natural defence system and ensure a stronger more robust plant also add CANNAZYM at 2.5 mL/L. To radically accelerate the blooming response, improve quality and significantly increase flower yield also add CANNABOOST Accelerator at 2-4 mL/L.
Bloom Stage 2
When small fruit and flower buds develop, irrigate with CANNA COCO A&B with an EC of 1.3-1.8 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Add A&B concentrates at 2-3 mL/L. To build the leaf and root mass required for heavier yields add RHIZOTONIC at 0.5mL/L. To supercharge nutrient uptake add CANNAZYM at the rate of 2.5 mL/L. To develop heavier, tighter, sweeter fruits and blooms extremely quickly add CANNA PK 13-14 at 1.5 mL/L. Only apply PK 13-14 three to four weeks (weeks 5-6 in an eight week flowering cycle) before harvesting. PK 13-14 is pharmaceutical grade so never use it for more than one week! To harvest up to 20% faster and increase yield, add CANNABOOST Accelerator at 2-4 mL/L.
Bloom Stage 3
As fruit and flower buds increase in size irrigate with CANNA COCO A&B with an EC of 1.0-1.5 mS/cm higher than the EC of the tap water. Add A&B concentrates at 2-3 mL/L. To build the leaf and root mass required for heavier yields add RHIZOTONIC at 0.5mL/L. To supercharge nutrient uptake, boost the plants natural defence system and ensure a stronger more robust plant also add CANNAZYM at 2.5 mL/L. To harvest up to 20% faster and increase yield, add CANNABOOST Accelerator at 2-4 mL/L.
Bloom Stage 4
During the final 1-2 weeks when fruit and flower blooms peak in size and ripening irrigate with tap water with an EC of 0.0 mS/cm and CANNAZYM at 2.5 mL/L. For superior concentrations of natural flavour and aroma, also add CANNABOOST Accelerator at 2-4 mL/L.
NB: The suggested EC levels are based on a tap water of 0.0 mS/cm. If your tap water EC is 0.5 the recommended EC should be 0.5 higher.
Precautions
- Recommended pH 5.2-6.2
- Never exceed 1:250 (4 mL/L)
- Never use an EC higher than 2.8 mS
- Always check pH and EC levels with the appropriate meters
- Do not mix A & B together undiluted
- Never use more than the directed amount
Caution
- Do not swallow
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Store in a cool dark place
- Keep lids tightly closed
- Rinse with water if in contact with skin or eyes
Drainage and Nutrient/ Water Dosage
The frequency of feeding depends on the evaporation and the water supply in the CANNA COCO coconut substrate. A general rule is that one daily feed should be sufficient during the first few weeks; then two feeds per day - two hours after turning the lamps on and two hours before switching them off.
- Generally, we recommend giving five litres/ m²/ day for fully-grown plants.
- Do not water the plants too often or give too much. By reducing the watering frequency, optimal water replenishment is established. This improves the capacity of the coconut substrate to absorb all the nutrients, optimises the drainage and air in the medium and prevents accumulation of salts within the coconut substrate.
- If the EC of the irrigation water is higher than 0.6 mS/cm, then it is better to increase the water dosage until a drainage of 20% has been reached (1/5 of the irrigation solution has to leave the medium again).
- If the EC of the irrigation water is lower than 0.6 mS/cm, a lower drainage of 10% will suffice. Never use an EC higher than 2.8 mS/cm.
- Recommended pH is 5.2-6.2.
- CANNA COCO coconut substrate holds liquid while still draining well, however it is still possible to over water. For optimum results regularly check the moisture content of the medium and ensure it is not water logged.
The recommendations given here are, amongst other things, dependant on the environmental factors and the quality of the irrigation water.
