Floraltec's Cure Flower Enhancer

Cure® is a top-performing natural crop enhancer that provides you with superior flowers. It is a natural essential oil preservative that not only protects your harvested flowers from deterioration and oxidation but also enhances the plant's rich trichome and flower structures.

Cure's® 100% plant-based formula is derived through proprietary enzyme technology, which utilizes cellobiose and soluble plant fiber to encourage flowers to absorb these compounds upon application. The result is an increase in shelf life, quality, and harvested yields.

Instructions:

Mix the contents with room temperature water (25ºC) at a 1:1 ratio, which means half strength.

Soak freshly harvested flowers with the solution. The best way to do this is by fully immersing the flower material in a container of the solution and gently pressing down to squeeze out air bubbles.

Remove the flowers from the container and drain off any excess solution using a suitable strainer. The drain time may vary depending on the volume and type of flowers being prepared. Usually, 15-30 minutes will suffice.

Place the drained flowers in a single layer on an airing rack. The flowers need to be dried quickly (2-4 days) in a sealed room with dehumidifiers and oscillating fans to generate a flow of warm dry air. Keep the air temperature above 27.5ºC (81.5ºF) at all times.

Best Practice Drying Method:

For optimal results, follow Floraltec's recommended best practice drying method, which involves using a fully sealed drying room, several oscillating fans, and a dehumidifier. Use duct tape to seal all gaps or drafts in the room. Generally, one small household dehumidifier is enough to extract moisture from the yield of a small number of plants.

Arrange the flowers on the airing rack in the drying room, then turn on your dehumidifier (at its highest setting) and oscillating fans. Seal the drying room using duct tape and leave the dehumidifier and fan running until the flowers are dry.

The air temperature inside the drying room should be kept above 27.5ºC (81.5ºF) at all times. Rapid airflow of warm, dry air is necessary to prevent mold spores from germinating. Expect to see the relative humidity inside the room rise to between 80-100% within the first 12-24hrs as the dehumidifier starts extracting moisture from the air.

The objective is to dry your flowers as quickly as reasonably possible, so your flowers should be at least ¾ of the way to being dry within 36-48hrs, and your relative humidity inside the drying room should have dropped down to below 50%. If the process takes longer than 72hrs, you need to increase the airflow and speed up the process via more fans, more heaters, or another dehumidifier.
