Description
GT Silicon is a concentrated mixture of silicic acid and potassium hydroxide designed to add silicon to hydroponic nutrient solutions. Silicon strengthens plant cell walls, acting as a barrier against water loss, fungal infection, and insect and mite attacks. It is a beneficial nutrient that can improve plant growth and stress tolerance. To use, add 1ml per liter of nutrient solution to achieve a concentration of 20ppm silicon. For run-to-waste systems, add GT Silicon to the nutrient solution. For recirculating systems, add it to the tank weekly. Take precautions as it is highly alkaline and always check the pH level after adding it to the tank.
