Southern No Till Kelp Meal

Our kelp meal is unprocessed to maintain the abundance of secondary metabolites found in kelp, which can promote plant growth and health. Concentrated kelp extracts, on the other hand, are processed using heat and chemicals, which destroys these beneficial growth-promoting hormones such as cytokinins, gibberellins, auxins, indoles, and many others. Whole kelp meal naturally contains powerful growth-promoting hormones, providing a balanced spectrum of minerals and micro-nutrients, with over 60 trace elements.

To use as a topdress, sprinkle 1/2 cup per container or 1 cup per square meter in raised beds. For a soil or foliar tea, add 1/2 cup of kelp meal to 20L of clean water and let it soak for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Strain if using as a foliar, and spray all leaf surfaces top and bottom for an incredible growth and flowering promoter. Water into soil using the same watering technique you would normally use.

For a well-balanced botanical tea that feeds soil biology, provides plant-available nutrients, pest-resisting compounds, and growth-promoting hormones in one powerful natural punch, combine kelp meal with Neem Meal. For every 20L of water, add 1/4 cup kelp meal and 1/2 cup Neem Meal and soak as instructed above. Gently and slowly water your soil, applying once per fortnight for soil fertility.
